"Don't dare to go to that place in the dark," Someone said.
"There is a two headed snake there, it might harm you;" The voice was heard twice, stressing the danger.
John was not afraid of medieval monsters, which can only be seen on the covers of magazines and science fiction movies, and the rumor of its existence wasn going to stop him from going to the spring water well, where supposedly, the strange creature had been seen.
It was almost dark and the empty buckets remainded John of the necessity of water, so he headed to the spring water well. He was waking at a slow pace and taking an abstarct view of the lanscape. Little cotton ball, John's puppy, was leading the way, always running graciously and not getting further away from its owner.
Once at the water well, John lower the 5 gallon container, holding the handle with the thumb and index fingers; the humid rocks, around the water well, were somewhat slippery, and John stepped on one, which made him go sideways, falling to his left side and making a huge splash of water, which scare the puppy, who fled in stampede.
At that very moment, John sensed a sinuous thing swimming through the water, infront of him.
"There is a two headed snake there, it might harm you," the voice he heard earlier that day, sounded inside his brain.
He grabed a wooden branch, which he found floating on the water and stomped the creautre with it on the head.
The splashes of water made eco inside the well and a barking dog was heard not far from the place.
The following day, John went to the spring water well, but he only found wooden tree branches floating and moving on and against the walls of the water well...
